Where we started

We're a second generation, family owned Butchers and food shop in our 67th year of business, starting from humble beginnings in 1950 by Frank Eagles (pictured above on his butchers delivery bike) in the village of Bloxham, Oxfordshire.
We are now based in the centre of beautiful Deddington and are committed to providing the highest quality produce to our loyal customer base; our dedication to customer satisfaction with a personal and friendly approach has allowed us to have a real, renowned, relationship with our shoppers.
As the business and our customer base has grown, Eagles has branched into online sales, bespoke in-flight catering and increasing our social media profile, whilst firmly holding on to our core values in the shop.

Eagles Kitchens

Eagles, having stemmed from being a traditional butchers has developed into a fully operating production kitchen.
Not only do our team of chefs provide a variety of deli goods, desserts and ready meals for our retail business, they also cater for private executive aviation passengers across the UK.

The Shop

Our deceptively large shop is full to the brim with the finest of produce; Fresh meat, charcuterie, cheeses, wine, local beer and spirits as well as dry goods and freshly made goodies from our chefs all ensure whether you're looking for a quick dinner or something special, we have everything to suit your needs and requirements. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff are on hand to guide you and help wherever necessary.
